Rally Sulcis Iglesiente: all about the exciting new race in Sardinia
This is it! This 2023 sees the start of the first edition of the Sulcis Iglesiente Rally organised by Mistral Racing in collaboration with the Region of Sardinia. This competition is of great importance because it will be the opening round of the Aci Sport Sardinia Rally Delegation Championship.

The first edition of the new Rally will be held from 17 to 19 March 2023, and will be divided into three races and no less than 10 special stages.

The race and special stages of the Sulcis Iglesiente Rally
The competition proposed by the Rally Sulcis Iglesiente promises to be a spectacular event with no less than three races, all on asphalt: the Modern Rally, the Historic Rally, and the Regularity Sports Rally.
Powerful four-wheel vehicles will whizz along breathtaking routes that highlight all the aspects of the Sardinian territory that deserve to be experienced and enhanced.
More than 60 km of timed routes will thrill us, showing off no less than 13 Sardinian municipalities: Iglesias, Carbonia, Fluminimaggiore, Gonnesa, Perdaxius, San Giovanni Suergiu, Narcao, Nuxis, Buggerru, Villamassargia, Tratalias, Santadi and Villaperuccio will be part of the race, displaying themselves in all their splendour.
Of the special stages, the first will take place on Saturday 18 March and will be at night, providing a spectacle of unique beauty, and will end with a regrouping at the car park of the Campo Sportivo Monteponi, in Via Valverde, Iglesias.
The remaining nine tests will take place on Sunday. The special races will be interspersed with three regroupings, the last of which will be at the Cantine di Santadi, which is also a partner of the race.
When does the Sulcis Iglesiente Rally start and what is its programme?
As anticipated, the exciting rally will last three days and take place over the weekend of 17-19 March 2023.
Of the three days dedicated to the event, the first will be used for the preliminaries to the actual race, which will start on Saturday 18 March. Below are the details of the programme:

The race organised by the Iglesias-based Mistral Racing team, together with the valuable support of the Regional Sports and Tourism Councillorships and the Automobile Club of Cagliari, will be of national importance.
The Modern, Historic and Regularity Sport Rally routes and special stages.
Considering the geographical area crossed by the Rally and the cities involved in the special stages, we already know that the competition will be a real spectacle. We will be enthralled not only by the exciting race, but also by all the emotions we will experience while driving through such a unique and fantastic landscape.
